Kim Holmberg, PhD, is a Research Associate at the Statistical Cybermetrics Research Group at University of Wolverhampton and a Research Fellow at the Department of Information Studies at Åbo Akademi University. His research interests include webometrics, scientometrics, social media, social network analysis, Web 2.0, Library 2.0 and virtual worlds in education. He was also the first university teacher to use the virtual world Second Life in education in Finland. Of these topics he has published widely and held several talks and presentations and organized courses and workshops for companies, universities, libraries and other organizations.
His personal interests include golf, photography, and cooking.
